Common questions
Is Jaivik Khad the same as Fermented Organic Manure?
Yes. Jaivik Khad is our Fermented Organic Manure (FOM) in smaller 5 kg and 10 kg bags. For farms, the same manure comes in 30 kg and 50 kg bags.
Can I use it for potted plants and kitchen gardens?
Yes. It suits all crops, fruits, vegetables and flowers, including pots and kitchen gardens. Mix it well into the soil around the root zone.
How much should I use?
For fruit trees and plantation crops, 1–3 kg per plant at planting or in early growth stages. For field crops and vegetables, 750 kg to 1 ton per acre as a basal dose, 15–20 days before sowing.
What is it made from?
It is made by anaerobic fermentation of farm by-products such as press mud and cow dung at our Compressed Bio Gas plant. The process increases nutrient availability and stimulates soil microbial activity.
Does it help saline or alkaline soil?
Yes. It helps revitalize degraded, saline, alkaline or exhausted soils by adding organic carbon and humus and improving soil structure.
